Raising money for Susan G. Komen
Donna and I (Buddy Holmes) have worked together at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure for years now. I just found out she is a “Big Wig” with her personal goal of raising $1,500 or more by the end of October. Since many thousands of folks are victims of the flood, raising money now is tough. So, here’s the plan:
I am going to build a little copper fountain and sugar kettle that Donna and I will sell. All the money from the eventual sale price goes directly to Susan G. Komen. If you buy it, the check will be made to Susan G. Komen. I am just getting my shop and house back together after the flood and understand that money is tight now. If you wish to have a nice little copper fountain for your yard, then here is a way to contribute to a good cause and get some of my work.
The fountain is pictured to the right. You will also get a 36” fiberglass sugar kettle as well. The “Tiered Waterlily” fountain sells for $575 with the pump and the small kettle sells for $250 for a total value of $825
Of course, it would be great if someone were willing to overpay, knowing that the proceeds go toward fighting breast cancer. Or; feel free to bid a lower, but reasonable, amount by sending me an email with subject line of “Donna Britt fountain”. We will email or call highest bidder on the 30th.

If this works for you, then just contact me (Buddy Holmes) at buddy@waterfallforge.com and tell me you want the Donna Britt Susan G. Komen fountain. This will be a first come, first served type deal. Donna’s always busy keeping us informed on WAFB, so all contact needs to be through me. This fountain donation is good until October 30th. Please spread the word.  Thanks from Donna and Buddy
